Gym Flooring was commissioned by Parkwood Leisure to repurpose an unused office into a fully functional strength and conditioning suite. The aim was to create a modern training environment capable of supporting both heavy-duty lifting and high-performance functional training.
Our scope of works consisted of uplifting over 600m2 of existing flooring and preparing the subfloor with a primer and latex, over 100m2 of our very popular and extremely hardwearing 40mm rubber tile was installed in the weights area with our 40mm ramp edge.
In the main gym area, we installed over 450m2 of our 20mm fitness tile connect with a grey Epdm fleck, to the centre of the room we installed two 15m x 1.25m bespoke sled tracks, fitted on an 8mm shockpad underlay.
The upgraded facility now features a clean, modern layout with robust flooring suitable for heavy lifting, functional training, and high-intensity workouts—delivering a premium training space for Parkwood Leisure members.
