Braywick Leisure Centre, situated in the heart of Maidenhead, is a key facility serving the local community. As part of a major refurbishment of its large gym space, Pulse Fitness appointed us to deliver the full flooring installation for this high-profile project.

The works involved the complete removal of approximately 1,000m² of existing flooring across the gym area. Once cleared, we installed 1,000m² of 18mm plywood to create a strong and durable subfloor, suitable for the demands of a busy leisure environment.

The free weights area was finished with 400m² of our 40mm Rubber Connect Tiles, providing excellent shock absorption, durability, and performance. For the cardio zone, management requested a light, modern concrete-effect finish; this was achieved using Karndean Looselay vinyl tiles in the colour Utah, delivering both aesthetic appeal and practicality.

To complete the space, the functional training area was fitted with over 100m² of bespoke turf, incorporating a 10m x 1m sprint track, creating a versatile and visually striking training environment.

This project has transformed the gym into a modern, hard-wearing, and user-focused facility, designed to meet the needs of both staff and members for years to come.
