Droitwich Leisure Centre
This was another fantastic project completed by the Gym Flooring team in partnership with Pulse Fitness, transforming the fitness facilities at Droitwich Leisure Centre with a comprehensive new flooring installation.
Our scope of works began with uplifting and disposing of over 475m² of existing flooring, followed by thorough subfloor preparation using primer and a 3mm latex floor screed.
Within the free-weights area, we installed approximately 90m² of our extremely durable 40mm GF Heavy Duty rubber floor tiles in black with a 15% grey fleck, together with matching threshold strips. A further 15m² of 10mm heavy-duty rubber flooring was fitted in an additional training area.
The cardio and general fitness areas were finished with over 350m² of Karndean Opus Luxury Vinyl Tile. The staircase was also completed in Opus LVT, with aluminium stair nosings providing a smart and durable finish.
To complete the functional training zone, we installed 38m² of bespoke black 12mm sled track with gold inlaid markings, laid over an 8mm shockpad underlay. New full-height mirrors were also installed, completing the transformation.
